Starving Artist Challenge
You may or may not have heard of this man, Guillermo Vargas. He is the man with the starving dog left to die in the gallery “art piece.” He said something like, No one would have paid attention to this dog on the street and it would have died anyways because it was starving and sick.
I guess he was trying to make a point about something or other.
It’s a bit unclear as to whether the dog actually died or if it escaped.
I have a challenge for Senor Vargas. I will find a gallery here in New York City and then he can come and be tied up in it until he dies or he “escapes”. It’s great cause it makes a point about how artists are starving and no one pays any attention to them. It’s also great cause it makes a point about needless cruelty:
It’s not funny when it happens to a stray dog.
It IS funny when it happens to an “artist.”
Email me Guillermo, I know we can work something out.
