Nokia abandon 770 internet tablet children
That’s weird title for a post I admit, but if you are interested in the super miniature Nokia770 internet tablet (that resembled a Star Trek device and that I drew this wee bunny on) and want to read about the latest blow by Nokia go to Derek Coleman’s blog here.

Thanks for posting about this. It really needs to be known that 770 owners (and sad bunnies) will be left to fend for themselves from here on out, but that doesn’t mean the 770 is not a bad product. Like any new concept, it has had it’s highs and lows, but we toughed it out and as long as there are 770′s out there, they will be cared for by people who love gadgets.
I truly believe Nokia is smart enough to learn from this mistake, and I look forward to many more great tablets to continue the legacy that was started with the 770.

Imagine if Early Adopters of technology were adopting children instead of devices.
You’d get the kid home and find out that it doesn’t have eyes yet but they will send them in the mail.
The reason it cries all the time because of a “problem in its brain”. they will release a brain ware update in the next month or so.
It suddenly dies and when you call the adoption agency about it they say they have a new kind of kid you can get for more money but with no eyes.

That’s a disturbing analogy…accurate, but very disturbing.
