Bryant Park Can Con*
 
 
We went to Bryant Park to see the tree get lit for Christmas. There were figure skaters, Broadway singers, and OMFG….Canadians, Quebecois even. Not only was there a bunch of Canadians eating and drinking ”Canadian Themed” food and drinks in the “Celsius Lounge”. There was also a singer from Nova Scotia. Mawkish as Eat-a-Big-Meal-Rita-Macneil, the guy sang When a Child is Born. So embarasssing to be Canadian sometimes.
We also helped a nice wheelchair lady escape from the horrible singing.
Also there was the funniest dog ever. It thought it was a human baby.
* Can Con is a generic term used by Canadian broadcasters. They have to have at least 33.3% Canadian generated content on the airwaves, hence CAN CON. In other Canadian news the Ducks beat the Canucks last night 2-1.
